Hey guys. I just got an email about the impact the weather is having on blood donation. I'm not eligible to give for another few weeks, but if you're able to make it to any of the centers listed below please consider giving blood despite the weather over the next few days!

We need your help!
We must collect 600 units each day to ensure your community hospitals have enough blood for patient needs. Weather conditions have drastically impacted our appointments. We are currently only scheduled at 25% capacity for the next three days. We need 1800 more appointments! We are asking you to do one of the following:
1.If you have a mobile or center appointment scheduled and are healthy - please try to keep that appointment.
2.Donate at one of the mobiles listed below - walk-ins are welcome:
•BRADLEY - January 10 from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm at St Joseph Parish - Bradley: 211 N Center St
•CHICAGO HEIGHTS, IL - January 9 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Saint Paul's Lutheran Church: 330 Highland
•CRYSTAL LAKE, IL - January 9 from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm at Saint Thomas (Knights Of Columbus): 451 W. Terra Cotta
•ELGIN - January 10 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Cornerstone United Methodist Church: 41w170 Russell Road
•HUNTLEY - January 10 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Faith Community Church: 10547 Faiths Way
•OSWEGO, IL - January 8 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Oswego YMCA: 160 East Washington Street
•PALOS HEIGHTS, IL - January 8 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm at Palos Community Hospital: 12251 S. 80th Avenue
•SCHERERVILLE, IN - January 8 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Strack & Van Til - Schererville: 1515 Rt. 41
•VILLA PARK - January 10 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church: 300 S Ardmore Avenue
•WHEATON, IL - January 9 from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at Saint Daniel the Prophet Church: 101 West Loop Drive
3. Look at www.heartlandbc.org for center locations near you and donate in the next three days.
All donors who give will receive a free
$5.00 McDonald's Arch Card, compliments of
Heartland Blood Centers.
